Announcements let you communicate with players in a specific group or pairing. Players see your announcements in the Match Hub alongside their match details.
Creating an Announcement
From a group or pairing page, navigate to Announcements. Click New Announcement and fill in:
- Title — a short headline
- Description — the full message
- Type — choose from Info, Warning, Success, or Alert. The type controls the visual styling so players immediately understand the urgency.
Announcement Types
- Info — general updates like schedule reminders or format clarifications
- Warning — important notices like delays or rule changes
- Success — positive news like confirmed schedules or results posted
- Alert — urgent messages like emergency reschedules or disqualifications
Managing Announcements
The announcements page shows all announcements for that group with search and type filtering. You can edit existing announcements or create new ones.
Player View
Players see announcements in the Announcements card within their Match Hub. The card shows the latest announcements for their assigned group, with a count of total announcements.
