Stage Settings lets you fine-tune a stage after your roadmap is created. Access it from the stage management page.
What You Can Change
Stage Name
Edit the display name of a stage. Useful when you want something more descriptive than “Stage 1” — for example, “Qualifier Round” or “Grand Finals”.
Auto-Assign
View and control the auto-assign feature for the stage:
- See whether auto-assign is enabled and when it last ran
- Toggle auto-assign on or off
- Trigger an immediate auto-assign run to distribute unassigned registrations into groups
Redistribute Teams
Adjust how teams are distributed across groups without regenerating them from scratch:
- Change the invited slots handling strategy (Balanced, Stacked, Frontload)
- Change the fill strategy (Balanced, Sequential)
- Preview the redistribution before committing
- Commit the changes to apply them
This is useful when you need to rebalance groups after manual changes or when your initial distribution strategy isn’t working as expected.
